NTU Tennis League Commencing

Hi mates,

The Annual NTU Tennis League commences on the coming Saturday, 19 September 2009.
Registration opens all year round; Though the later you join the round robin, the less time you have on collecting points.
We are hoping to impel growth in our skills through these casual matches.

Rules & Regulations

1) Eligibility

All NTU Tennis Club members are eligible to participate in the League.

Registration Fee: Free-of-Charge

Registration: NTU Tennis Club Rallying Session - Look for Dennise (open all-year round)

2) Time & Venues

All Matches are to be played during NTU Tennis Club’s Rallying Session:

Saturdays, 1000-1200 – NIE Courts (Before October) /SRC Courts (October Onwards)

Wednesdays, 1800-2100 – SRC Courts (October Onwards)

One court is reserved for League matches

3) Format of Play

The first to four wins. Tie break at three-all (7points game. Difference of 2 points at 6-all onwards).

Events available: Men’s Singles, Women’s Singles.

4) League Fixtures

Matches are decided between players. Fixtures will be posted on ntutennisclub.blogspot.com. Any 2 players are allowed only one match in the whole league.

Points will be calculated on 1 April 2010.

In this case, D is the champion.

Players have to compete against at least 80% of total participants for his points to be considered. This number is subject to revision by the league master.

5) Officials

Players are required to officiate their own match. No umpires will be provided. Winner of the match is to report their scores to the league master.

6) Warm-Ups

5 minutes only.

7) Wet Weather

In case of bad weather, involved parties are free to decide:

- Reports the current score and end the match

- continue with the last score at first available time

8) Ethics

Players who uses audible profanities or hits, kicks or throws a racket/ball will face disciplinary action deemed fit by the Hon. Referee of the league.

9) Prizes

Men’s Singles: Ipod Nano Red (Engraved: Champion, NTU Tennis League 2009/2010)

Women’s Singles: Tennis Bag

Subject to revision by the league master

    Can non members join too? Or must i sign up first to join?if so, can i still sign up now?
